“Very thorough and easy to work with. Pictures and report walk-through were useful, and we got the results faster than other companies we talked to were quoting.”

Part of our Mold Testing in Charlotte, NC services.
Something's off in your home, and you can feel it. Maybe it's the congestion that won't go away, the headaches that hit hardest when you've been inside all day, or a kid whose asthma keeps getting worse for no reason that makes sense. Maybe your doctor has asked about environmental factors. You can't see what you're breathing, which makes the problem impossible to fix on your own. We test your indoor air so you know what's in it and can stop guessing about what's making everyone in the house feel worse.

“My experience with Pure Air was delightful! Topics of mold and mildew are never fun for any homeowner but speaking with Jared and Daniel put the power back in my hands. Jared's inspection was thorough and Daniel's breakdown of the air sample results was easy to understand. I would highly recommend Pure Air to anyone seeking guidance, reassurance, remediation, or simply peace of mind to anything mold related.”
“Patrick was so great! He came and spent an hour going through our home and assessing our mold situation. He was super patient in answering all our questions.”
If someone in the house has respiratory problems that don't respond to medication, allergies that flare up the moment you walk through the door, or sinus pressure that never clears, your air is a reasonable place to look.
We use Air-O-Cell cassettes, the standard tool in the indoor air quality industry. The cassette pulls a measured volume of air across a collection surface and traps mold spores, fragments, and other biological particles.
We sample the rooms where you spend the most time or where symptoms feel worst, plus an outdoor sample for a baseline. Everything goes to an independent certified lab for microscope analysis.
The lab identifies the mold by type and counts the spores, so you get real numbers broken down by room. Your report shows which areas are elevated and which ones are fine.
Most tests take about an hour on site, and lab results come back within a few business days. This is lab data, not a reading from a $30 meter, and you can hand it to your doctor or insurance company if you need to.
What you pay depends on how many rooms you want sampled.
We test to find out what's in your air, not to sell you remediation you don't need. If the results come back normal, we tell you so, and you walk away with paperwork to prove it. If they show elevated mold, we explain the numbers in plain language and walk you through your options, including our VaPURE process when you want to deal with the source. We're based in Charlotte, we work with families here every week, and same day appointments are usually available when you call in the morning. Every test is backed by an independent certified lab.
